Natural Allies for a Clean Energy Future is a bi-partisan coalition that promotes the vital role of natural gas in our nation’s economic, security, and climate leadership. Our work is focused on building support for natural gas, and we have a targeted audience that includes left-of-center federal policymakers, especially on legislative committees or regulatory agencies of jurisdiction (and the current Administration)

This presentation will cover some of the major legislative issues of the current session and provide outlook on the coming elections.
11:00–11:45am – Jan Boshoff, Chief Executive Officer, Nu:ionic Technologies, “Redeeming our existing energy infrastructure: ultra-low carbon hydrogen production from natural gas”
Learn how electrified methane reforming can help in the decarbonization efforts by producing affordable, distributed, low-carbon hydrogen close to the end users avoiding all the problems associated with hydrogen transportation.

This presentation will discuss what CCS is, review the primary drivers for it, describe the challenges ahead including the actual costs of the alternatives as the US plans to fully decarbonize the grid by 2035.
