MCGPA Events
As a member of the GPA Midstream Midcontinent Chapter, you’re not only invited to an impressive roster of events, trainings and other opportunities throughout the year – you also get heavily discounted registration to events and trainings.
Social Events
Unwind after a stressful week at one of our quarterly happy hours – or network with fellow industry peers at a baseball game. Our social events are typically timed to coincide with other events on the MCGPA calendar, such as training sessions, so you can maximize your time if you traveled from out of town. Food and beverages are provided, and we ask that you drink responsibly.
Trainings
MCGPA hosts technical & operations trainings throughout the year. The goal of each event is to provide our members with valuable information that can be used in day-to-day activities and in the field. We strive to schedule a variety of instructors and speakers on topics that will appeal to both midstream and operator companies, while also encouraging effective networking and career growth!
Volunteer Opportunities
The GPA Midstream Midcontinent Chapter provides opportunities throughout the year for members to support the communities in which they live and work. Each community outreach event gives members a chance to work together and meet & mingle with friends and peers from the local oil & gas industry.

Golf Tournaments
MCGPA’s Spring and Fall Golf Tournaments are always a huge hit, teeing off at the region’s best and most beautiful golf courses. Enjoy a full day of socializing and networking with midstream and operator companies, raffle prizes and free food and drinks!
Sporting Clays
Our annual Spring & Fall Sporting Clays are two of our most popular events of the year! Each Sporting Clay Event raises money in support of the chapter’s scholarship, charity, and training programs. Come shoot your shot and go home with new network connections, friends and maybe even a first-place trophy!
Membership Mixer
The Annual Membership Mixer is how MCGPA kicks off the new year, bringing together individual and corporate members to mix, mingle and network with future members. Learn the benefits of each membership option and enjoy an evening of free appetizers, drinks, raffle prizes, games and discounted onsite membership sign up!
National Convention
The GPA Midstream Convention is “where midstream meets,” bringing together thousands of professionals involved in everything from natural gas gathering and compression, to storage and marketing. For more than nine decades, GPA Midstream has led the industry in research, technology, setting and adopting standards for natural gas and natural gas liquids, and – more recently – working with legislators and regulators to represent the industry at state and federal levels.
Regional Conference
MCGPA Midstream hosts an Annual Conference each Spring which provides an opportunity for members to share best practices, discuss the industry’s latest legislative & regulatory information, and benefit from scheduled technical sessions conducted by industry experts.
Annual Holiday Party
MCGPA takes an evening and combines it with a specialty venue, heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, live band, etc. to look back on the year, celebrate the holidays, and ring in the new year with friends and colleagues. This event is a great opportunity to “Eat, Drink & Be Merry” with peers or your significant other, so join us!
